Volkswagen Canada Offers SIRIUS Satellite Radio as Standard Equipment in 2 New Models
TORONTO, April 11, 2007 - SIRIUS Canada, the country’s number one choice for satellite radio, today announced that Volkswagen Canada will offer SIRIUS Satellite Radio as standard equipment in 2 new vehicle models. The new 2008 Touareg 2 and special edition Triple White New Beetle Convertible will feature SIRIUS Satellite Radio as standard equipment. The new vehicles were recently unveiled at the 2007 Vancouver Auto Show as part of a North American premiere.
Volkswagen Canada will offer factory-installed SIRIUS Satellite Radio receivers bundled with a three month subscription to SIRIUS Canada’s premium, full-time 110 channel satellite radio service. With the addition of the new Touareg and New Beetle Convertible Triple White, a total of 7 Volkswagen models are now available with SIRIUS Satellite Radio in Canada including the Rabbit, Jetta, New Beetle, New Beetle Convertible, Passat Sedan, and Passat Wagon.
